Quality Differentiation and Optimal Pricing Strategy In Multi-Sided Markets

This paper analyzes the generalized quality differentiation model in multi-sided markets with positive externalities, which leads to new insights into optimal pricing structure of firm. We find that for users on one side affects not only involving but also other due cross-side network thereby affecting firms. In addition, strategic relationships among all choice variables platform, enabling platform strategically use raise its profits.
